I come from a family of builders and creators who believe in honesty, quality, and craftsmanship; beliefs that are staunchly embedded in each of my projects today.  

I grew up on construction sites and farms.  My family built our log home in Eastern Iowa from the ground up, incorporating beams and boards from our family’s 100 year old grain barn.

In 2003, I started Svatek Builders because I saw a need for contractors who were enthusiastic about the homes they were building and who provided clients with clarity and visibility through the entire process. At the heart of my work is collaborating with clients to manifest their ideas and concepts and it's this unique partnership that leads to creating the right home.
